ConnectCard i.MX28 - sdio interface

I want to interface a wifi module to ConnectCard i.MX28 dev board. For that i need SDIO interface.i want to know whther this development board has sdio interface to connect an external wifi module.

You can check the hardware reference manual:

i.MX28 Features and Functionality
The ConnectCard for i.MX28 mod
ule is based on the i.MX28 proc
essor series from Freescale.
This processor offers a high number of interf
aces. Most of these interfaces are multiplexed
and are not available simultaneously. Not all feat
ures are available on all variations of the
module. More in-depth information can be
found in the “i.MX28 Application Processor
Reference Manual” on the Freescale web site.
The i.MX28 processor uses an ARM 926 core
with on-chip RISC (Reduced
Instruction Set Computer).
The ConnectCard for i.MX28 module has the following i.MX28 features:

LRADC (Low Resolution ADC)

HSADC (High Speed ADC)

GPIO (General Purpose Input Output)


Power supply options - Battery and DC

ccardwmx28js (wireless version of same module) already has wifi chip (Atheros wireless chip) interfaced on SSP2 interface. Hope this is useful info…
