DGNC Driver for NEO 8 Port on OpenSUSE 11.1

Has anyone installed/configured the dgnc-1.3-15 or 16 drivers successfully on OpenSUSE 11.1? How “stable” are they?

I tried it, but to many errors while rebuilding the src.rpm. Asked the technical support for solution.

Do you have another driver that works?

i changed my installation to CentOS. Works fine!

Hi Zalu,

I dont have luck installing it on FC5. I will probably use CentOS too. What version of CentOS are you using ? Does it compile without any problem ?

FC5 will require a specific installation flag if using the stock kernel:

rpmbuild --rebuild --define DISTRO=FEDORA --define NEW_TTY_LOCKING=Yes (driver).src.rpm
