I am working on a project where i connect my compact logix PLC to a serial measurement device through Generic Ethernet Ip module and planning to write and read the data via messaging SLC read and function.I configured both the serial ports(1 and 2) as serial slave in the Digi ONE IAP( in IA configuration).
Everything done fine but i could not able to receive or send data across the serial port.Status LED in the Digi serial port is not showing any functionality except for RTS and DTR being glowing solid green.
Can any one help me in sorting the issue.Is it the firmware to be updated?
