I know this is an obsolete product, but I was curious if I could get any help with this. I have been trying a variety of different ways to use a USB to flash firmware and set certain config. I have gotten to change config but throughout all these guides I cannot get the USB to flash the firmware. How to upgrade the firmware on a Digi TransPort router using a USB flash drive to version 5.2.9.13 o | Digi International Method B on this guide is what I am trying to do as I just want to update firmware without losing current config. When I set up my USB like this I do not even get flashing of the LED’s although when using “dir u:” I can see all the files and that the USB is being properly read. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I currently have as my autoexec.bat and the files listed in my USB drive following Method B of that listed guide.
I don’t see the .all file in your listing. I also don’t see the versions listed in your drive at ftp1.digi.com - /support/firmware/transport/flashwriter/latest/ or ftp1.digi.com - /support/firmware/transport/flashwriter/?
The .all file I was using for this image was located on the WR21 page “ Digi WR21 Support Resources “. I have also used the 8.5.0.1 as I thought they could possibly be different.
I don’t know much about the WR21, but have you tried to update the device via the other methods available? It’s possible that you are running a version where by this function was not an option.
