Maybe a better question to ask would be: which usb serial converter would be the most reliable and best solution for light-industrial use?

It would be Edgeport depending on how many devices you want to connect.
Ok, to answer my own question. I still haven’t been able to find out what the name of the Edgeport chipset is called, I guess its Digi’s own design, but Im not sure.
The reason I wanted to find out is that depending on which chipset it is, it gives you interesting facts about the specs of the converter. It would be great with a datasheet of the chipset in the Edgeport.
