Encryption enable problem in ad-hoc mode

I have some problem with ad-hoc connection. My network is XB24 wi-fi module (IBSS creator mode) <----> PC. When i enabled encryption and entered security key (i used different encryption modes) in X-CTU utility network status on PC didn’t change. It was also open network, without encryption… Can you help me with this problem? Did you have the same problem with enable encryption? XB24-WF firmware version is 102B, X-CTU version - 5.2.7.5. Thanks In Advance!

Security is not available in Ad Hoc mode.

I have module as joiner and WEP works correctly (fw 102D).
