End device to coordinator addressing

Hello,
I would like to know if it is faster to send a Zigbee message to the coordinator using his 64-bit and 16-bit address instead of using a 64-bit address equal to 00’s and a 16-bit address of FFFE.

I’ve run a few tests and sometimes the device does a route discovery, and sometimes doesn’t.

Using the the 64-bit address + 16-bit address in the transmission request is going to be faster as it should avoid performing an short address discovery.
