For XBee S2C and/or 3 Zigbee(s)… do port expanders work just fine (i.e. like this MCP23017 - i2c 16 input/output port expander) ? I can’t imagine how XCTU would see these new ports and allow you to configure the new ports accordingly?

I can’t see how that would work as the devices require their own software interface that neither device would understand.
