Garbage from an other 802.15.4?

Hello,

I have installed 250 Xbees Pro serie 1.

Sometimes, it’s very rare, an other system seems to use same frequency. It acts like a repeter but not on the same encryption code. It repeats garbage characters. The characters are the same number than the number of characters my Xbees transmit.

That causes some communication problems.

Is it possible that an other system doesn’t respect the 802.15.4 Protocol?

Does 802.15.4 protect the systems against that?

It would have to be another system running on 802.15.4 protocol and on the same PAN Id for you to see any packet. To prevent this, try changing the PAN ID or the Channel commands.
