I’ve just got an X4 gateway. This is not my first Digi product, but the first one I’ve used Digi ESP for Python with.
The problem I have is that I cannot build the hello world application. The building process gets to about 20% (“Translating Project Paths…”) and then stays there for a little while after which fails with an error:
Errors occurred during the build. Errors running builder ‘Digi Python Application Builder’ on project ‘hello_world’. String index out of range: -1
Has anyone ever seen this? I am pretty sure that I was able to compile this project a couple of time yesterday and then suddenly it stopped working.
I’ve already re-installed the ESP, but with no change.
The only thing that’s changed on my PC is that I installed an MQTT server application, but I don’t think that it is auto-starting anyway.
Any idea why this may be happening?
