How do I assign a host to a group?

I have assigned a port a group number but do not not how to connect it to the host.

Within the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility, select the AnywhereUSB and click the Configure button. In the Configure window, select the Group number from the dropdown at the top-right, then click the Update button. Now, if you select the AnywhereUSB and click the Connect button, the computer will connect to that (specified) Group.
