How can I convert my XBee Pro S2C (XBP24CZ7WIT-004) to use the SE firmware?

(I followed the instructions on http://knowledge.digi.com/articles/Knowledge_Base_Article/Can-I-convert-an-XBee-XBee-PRO-ZNET-2-5-Module-to-a-ZB-Module but my XBee does not function after.)

That link you shared is to convert ZNET modules to Zigbee.

To load Smart Energy SE firmware, connect module with system using Digi interface board and use XCTU to update its firmware of your choice.
