How to poll remote I/O states using multiple xbee s6b connected across single network ?

Greetings,

I did manage to setup and communicate commands over the local network(access point) using x-ctu where each Xbee S6B node was configured under STA in infrastructure mode. Can any one guide me how can this be done programatically using python ?
