How use Ping command via SMS on DIGI transport WR31?

Hello,

I exactly configured my Digi Transport WR31 to send/receive SMS as it explain this doc : http://ftp1.digi.com/support/documentation/QN_018_Configuring%20a%20Digi%20TransPort%20router%20to.pdf

Most commands work but not the ping command or traceroute for example.

So i would like to know if it’s possible to use ping command via SMS (the event logger shows that the command is executed but there is no return via SMS). How to get the return of the command via SMS ?

Hi

The Ping and traceroute are commands that do not pass the data back over the SMS message.

i Had asked this before and got back no they dont report back but they do run
