Interfacing a relay to DIO pins. What is the max drive current?

Hello,
I am trying to determine how to interface a relay to one of the Digital outputs on my device.

I dont see the max current output of the DIO pins in the datasheet though. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Hello Erik,

Assuming it’s a Programmable XBee, the maximum current by output pin is 2mA for Drive Strength = Low and up to 10 mA for Drive Strength = High. Please consult the MC9S08QE Datasheet for more information.
