Portserver II serial speeds.

Hi,

We are currently runnning Unixware 7.1.1 with realport 3.3.1 connecting to portserver II with firmware revision 3.0.13.

Our terminals then connect at 9600 baud.

My question: We would like to increase the baud rate as high as possible. We have setup the terminals at 57600 baud and connected, however we experience corruption on the screen.

Is there any restrictions from the realport / digi side of things? Or does anyone know what I may be missing.?

Could it be a physical cabling issue? (CAT5e)

Did you change the baud rate for the ttymon on the UnixWare host?

yes. All that works OK, as I actually managed to establish comms.
