PortServer TS 16 serial connection to Cisco device

When I make an SSH or telnet connection to the IP address/port to access the serial port of my ASA through the PortServer TS 16, I receive the login prompt. After I login successfully, I do not get anything else on the screen. If I type anything, all I get is ASCII characters.

I am not sure why this is happening and cannot find a solution.

Try resetting the device to factory default and also update the firmware
