Portserver TS 4 MEI, Can't log in

Hi,

I’m trying to install x2 PortServers (TS4MEI), however I can’t log into the device using the default ‘dbps’ password. I get “Authentication Failure (code 1)”

Both devices are new and I’ve never had this issue before. If I do a factory reset the problem still exists. Is there anything else I can try?

Hi and welcome to Digi forum.

If the device is new, it should have a unique password on the label. In this case you should be able to login using:

User name: root
Default password: The unique default password printed on the label
