Programs being run on both the slave and master are:
Slave side-SLAVE_DEMO
Master side-MASTER_DEMO
While running the sample programs of slave port in RCM4000, I get the following output on the master:
“Got Read Error= -1”
“Wrfree= -1”
Why is the data not being read from the slave?
These samples were written for some Rabbit 3000 products such as the RCM3200 which had circuitry on the protoboard which allowed two RCM3200s to be plugged in, one as master and one as slave.
Take a look at the schematic for that protoboard to get an idea of what kind of connections you would need between the two boards.
