Question about the Rabbit 3000

Hi,

I’m currently doing trying to complete a Solar Powered Programmable Watercraft. In order to controll the direct the boat is traveling at a given time, I am trying to use a servo motor to turn the rudder.

Unfortunately, I orderd an 8 servo controller that does not have any memory on it and thus I need a micro controller to connect to it via RS232 (Serial) so it can run the program without being connected to a computer.

Does the Rabbit 3000 output in serial, and can I connect the output to a serial dongle?

there is a multi port S2E kit, it uses the Rabbit 3000 and shows you how to use up to 4 serial ports. You will need to add a PIC microchip in between to control your servo.
