Hi, I’m wanting to do 3x RS-232 streams into an RCM3700 and I’m just wondering if this is possible. I think it can be done but can I do it without sharing physical pins/ports? I basically want to do accept 3 data streams simultaneously and send them out over Ethernet and then one of those three data streams will need to be bi-directional. Which ports should I use to avoid conflict with the serial used to program the rabbit?

Ports C, D, and E can be used as long as you watch out for alternate pin usage. Also beware of some on-module jumpering to between RxC and RxD and pins PG2 & PG3. Also carefully check RCM37xx.lib for initialization conflicts as to I/O port functions.
