Reset and config pins

XBee & XBee Gateway XBee - Point-to-Point/Multi-Point

Those pins must be connected to Vcc?
When the two Xbees are close (15 cm), the communications work ok. But when the distance is 30 cm I can´t see anything. What is the problem?

Thanks. The Xbee are working but the problem seems to be the ground connection.If i put my finger in the antenna, the communications works perfectly. I checked the ground connection and all the pins are connected and no shortcircuit is detected. Do I need a ground RF for the Xbee pin separated from the gnd of the microcontroller? I think that maybe I need the antenna.
