Sending BREAK through reverse telnet

Hello!

To get a ‘go’ prompt on a Sun server I normally send a break on the console. Now I have connected all my Sun servers to a PortServerII and reaches the consoles using reverse telnet. How do I send a break to one of those consoles?

Hello Morten,

You will need to check the help information for the Telnet client you are using to find out how to send a “Break”. In Microsoft’s telnet, you will need to establish a connection, and then return to the telnet command line and use the “send brk” command.
