Threads in XBee 3

Hi,

I have an XBee 3 RF Zigbee module and I program it through MicroPython.
As mentioned in the question, I am interested in utilizing different threads in order to complete different tasks.

So, I would like to ask if this is possible and how can I do it?
Shall I install the XBee Python library?
Any additional info or guidance (even where to look at) is more than welcomed!!!

the xbee 3 does not support threading
