Hi BOB i am having the same problem, i have tried sending mail to the concerned person but no positive reply was made, can you please suggest me some other website from where i can purchase this product.
The 802.15.4 and Digimesh versions are the same hardware, so if you can find 802.15.4 (which should be easy) all you then have to do is to use X-CTU to load the Digimesh firmware onto it.
This isn’t really extra trouble, because normally the first thing to do after you purchase any model is to upgrade the firmware to the latest anyway.
