Which Connect Port/Gateway do I need with 900HP modules to connect to Ethernet? I believe its a connect port 2 but it seems to support many modules so do I need to put a 900HP module inside the connect port 2 or is there a version that supports these modules out of the box?

For the 900HP modules you can use an
X2

or an
X4
http://www.digi.com/products/wireless-routers-gateways/routing-gateways/connectportx4#models
The X4 is more powerful and has extra features like the Industrial Automation engine for things like Modbus.
The models are included with the device.
