I’ve got a BL2600 Wolf development kit and a RN1600 Keypad/LCD rabbitnet card attached. I’m having trouble with my LCD though. It is the 4x20 Character LCD that came with the RN1600. I can initialize the LCD and turn on the backlight, but I cannot print any characters or the cursor to it.
When I run the LCDBASIC.C sample program (after changing the size to 4x20 in the code), the buzzer works and the LCD changes from dark squares to nothing, then the backlight turns on. I think there might be something wrong with my RN1600 board. Can anyone confirm this or tell me how to fix my dilemma?
