I want to setup my modem router to give static IP address to each of the 4 available ethernet port and share the internet at the same time. As I understand, this can be done using Port Isolate Mode, but I was unable to get it to work. I only manage to set the static IP from each ethernet port but not sharing of the internet. I need this going so that I can get remote access to instruments via the internet.

If you want to share internet then you need to use HUB mode not port isolate mode.
Note: While assining static IP address make sure all the ports are in the same network.
