Started install of X-CTU, interrupted. Tried removing, error message: install was still running. Tried repairing install, got same message. Installer=40003002_C.exe, OS=Win7, home premium, 64 bit.
Go to task Manager and kill that process. Then run ccleaner on your system for both temp data and registry.
Now, restart system and run that installation again.
