XBEE-PRO 900MHZ vs 2.4GHZ

Hi,
Currently we use DIGI-PRO 900MHZ radios in our product, and we would like to use 2.4GHZ modules in another product instead of 900MHZ Digi Mesh modules, I assume there are no Application software changes(On the Microcontroller side) required as I am using DIGI mesh protocol, and the API mode to interact with the digi Radio. Please let me know your thoughts about it.

Currently we use the module SX900, and we would like to use 2.4GHZ module (S2C).

That is correct. I would not expect you to need to change your code if you are using just the Tx and Rx frames.

Note that there will be a difference in the distance you can obtain as the lower frequency will give you a longer distance.
