XBee3 MMT on PCB design: how to bring power to it?

I have a voltage regulator on the pcb that inputs 12V and drops it to 3.3V (500ma max). To bring power to the XBee3 MMT device on the PCB, I just route the 3.3V output of the Vreg to the Vcc of the XBee3, correct? plus GND of all circuitry.

thanks

That would be correct. With the additional changes listed in the manual at https://www.digi.com/resources/documentation/digidocs/pdfs/90001543.pdf

thank you kindly

do I just bring 3.3v into the Vcc pin (pin 2) of the XBee?plus connect GND… right now the XBee doesn’t turn on when I do this… haven’t added the recommended capacitors though.

Yes that is all you would need to do if you are able to provide the required current at a fast enough rate.
