XCTU cannot discover device data XBee S2C

I am trying to connect the Amazon Echo Plus to my XBee S2C via ZigBee.

The Smarthome settings from DIGI are already running on the XBee. It also is able to find the Network of the Echo but if i want to connect to it and read the device Data it always displays the same error message saying “could not initialize selected node Either device is sleeping or no longer in the network”.

This is weird because in the Network manager the Network is found.

What settings could i try or why won’t this work?

XCTU can only read XBee modules. It does not have the ability to read devices from other manufactures.
