Hello,
I have two devices that I am trying to get to communicate with each other, with no luck. I’m new to using these devices, so bear with me.
One of the devices is an older 9XStream, part number X09-009PKC-U, the firmware being used is HOPPING – ADVANCED RF, version is 5000.
Destination Address is 30
Hopping Channel is 2.
MY Source Address is FFFF.
MK Address Mask is FFFF.
RF Mode is Peer to Peer (Transparent)
The newer device is a XBP9B-XCST-001, firmware version 3009. To the best of my knowledge, it’s supposed to be compatible with legacy XStream modules. Function set being used is XBEE-PRO XSC (S3B).
Destination Address is 30
Hopping Channel is 2.
MY Source Address is FFFF.
MK Address Mask is FFFF.
RF Mode is Peer to Peer (Transparent)
All serial settings are the same, all options are identical.
I connected one device to computer A, and another device to computer B.
On computer A, in XCTU, I open the serial console, open the port, and start sending test packets.
On computer B, in XCTU, I open the serial console, open the port, and I presume I should be seeing the sent data from computer A, but there’s nothing.
When I try to do this in the opposite direction, the results are the same.
What am I doing wrong, or are these devices not compatible with each other?
Thanks!
