AnywhereUSB/2 disconnects every hour

We have an AnywhereUSB/2 device which is connected to a Windows Server 2003 SP2 system. There is an Omnikey 3121 smartcard reader attached to the AnywhereUSB hub.

Connection to the AnywhereUSB drops every hour and 10 seconds for a few seconds. When it drops the Established Resets in System Information -> Network increases by 1.

In the Windows System Event Log we get a 610 error from SCardSvr each time it drops. Roughly 9 seconds after this event there’s another event for the Omnikey reconnecting.

The firmware revision is 1.32.0630 and the hub has been up for >172days.

Any ideas on how we can stop the disconnections?

Hello, What version of the AnywhereUSB driver are you using (found in the utility).

Have the “disconnections after every hour” problems just start after 172 days of being up and running without any or ?

You should also have an event log being recorded in the AnywhereUSB utility, which may give more information.
Otherwise, I would check your driver version as well and make sure it is current, both on the AnywhereUSB AND the Smart Card reader.
