Hi,

I’m going to be emailing you about this shortly.

Best regards,

Mike Swift

I’m now getting this error also. In both versions 1.8 and 1.9, the unit seems to reboot every 47 seconds or so with the error below.

Could I get an assist with this?

This is on a 32-bit Win2k3 R2 guest, on a 64-bit Win2k3 R2 host in VMWare Server.

What kind of USB device(s) are you using,
yattering?

I’ve got a Canon Pixma mp830 and an i-mate Jam connected. According to the Check Utility, which I was able to run between random reboots, both are compatible devices.

For the record, I’ve experienced this error on two different guest OSes, one XPProSP2 and the current Win2k3 R2.

  1. Besides the errors you’re seeing in the event log, what other kinds of issues are occurring? For example, the original poster stated that the AnywhereUSB was rebooting.

  2. What is the behavior of the front panel LEDs?

  3. Are you able to install either device?

  4. Are you able to interact with either device?

  5. Have you determined which of these two devices is causing the problem? To do this, power off the AnywhereUSB and attached devices, leave only one device attached, then power up that one device and then the AnywhereUSB. Make notes of your observations (#1-4 above), then “rinse and repeat” for the other device.
