AnywhereUSB cannot recognize SF100 SPI NOR Flash Programmer

Hello,

My name is Nick.ko, my company is Dediprog (DediProg|Leading in IC Programming Device and Handler Design) located in Taiwan, which manufactures chip programmers.

Our Intel customer in Malaysia uses our SF100 SPI NOR Flash Programmer to connect to Digi AnywhereUSB® 8 Plus (Part Number: AW08-G300), but the computer’s device administrator cannot recognize the SF100 driver.

Intel has tested several new SF100s and confirmed that this is not an SF100 hardware problem because the SF100 is directly connected to the laptop’s USB and can successfully recognize the SF100 driver.

Since we don’t have a Digi AnywhereUSB® 8 Plus, we were unable to test to find the underlying issue. The SF100 I used worked fine with a TP-Link USB 3.1 Gen 1 (3.0) hub.

Thank you for your help in advance!

@nick.ko , the AnywhereUSB Plus product works with many USB devices, but sometimes use of a USB device over a network-connected hub introduces a bit of latency which the USB device’s drivers don’t expect.

I believe you’ll be hearing from my colleague @Ron soon, who may just have the resolution for the issue in your Tech Support case. If the steps work for you, could you post them here with confirmation?
