AnywhereUSB - Logging of driver events

Hello,

What is the use of the “logging of driver events” on AnywhereUSB utilities? Any examples?

File Menu> Preferences > Event Logging

I have tried to unplug the network cable and change the IP of the AnywhereUSB but only able to get the following logs in the event log (Checked Enabling driver event logging, Log all errors, Log all connections ). Seems like enabling driver event logging does not give any additional information.

00000005 Software Reboot (User Request)
00000006 Software Reboot (Firmware Upgrade)
00000007 Software Reboot (Host Disconnected)

Hope you have a great day.
Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to troubleshoot an issue, or are you just curious about that logging feature?

actually both… hope you could please explain the following:

Event Logging
-Enable driver event logging
–Log All Errors
–Log All Connections

thanks

I’m pretty sure that all of those options are related to the AwUsbLog.exe utility that’s automatically copied to the hard drive (\system32)when the AnywhereUSB driver package is installed. This is also related to the “Debug Log Address”, if you click the Configure button in the AnywhereUSB Configuration Utility.

I’ll be glad to help you troubleshoot the issue if you would give me details of the symptoms. You’re welcome to mess with the logging stuff but, honestly, it’s probably not going to be helpful.
