Thanks for the info. I didn’t realize that the notes were cumulative from V2.50 on because I only have 32-bit releases 2.40 and 2.51 and the 2.51 notes don’t include the 2.40 notes.

I’m including the notes for v2.40 here for others that may refer to this thread.

Release Notes:

v2.40 (Released 4/9/08)

  1. Added support for DHCP Option 26 (MTU Size). Default MTU to 1500 if option 26 (MTU Size) is not supplied by DHCP server.
  2. The configuration utility has added a field to allow for the configuration of MTU Size.
  3. When DHCP is enabled and no DHCP OFFER is received, the AnywhereUSB Hub will revert to an unconfigured mode so the unit can be reconfigured.
  4. Added password support to config utility to enable administrators to limit
access to certain AnywhereUSB Hub features.
  5. Added class name for Cisco Routers.
  6. Added support for new 'W’serial numbers.
  7. Added Permitted Device ID list to hub driver.

These are the release notes between 2.40 and 2.70 which is the current release (release notes on the support site).

I’m guessing that you’re asking for this info to help troubleshoot the “reboot every 1.5 minute” issue that you also posted about?

We recommend using the current release v2.70 driver.

Thanks again!

I’m interested in the complete change history for two reasons:

  1. To see if any problem similar to my reboot problem was addressed
  2. To evaluate the risk and benefits of updating multiple customer devices - which may have a significant cost in my situation
