I have few boards with Zigbee modules from some other manufacturer. I wish to control them centrally using Digi’s XBee Zigbee Gateway.
Before investing on the gateway, i want to confirm if it can communicate with other manufacturer’s Zigbee module.
Yes as far as Digi is concerned, they can communicate with 3rd party Zigbee devices. It is a matter of setting the ZS command on the Gateway to what ever Zigbee protocol they are using and adjusting your Python code to use the proper ZDO functions.
