Sensors form other vendors compatible with Digi

Hi,

I’m starting with the iDigi Gateway Development Kit and I want to know what devices from other vendors are compatible with the XBee network.

I know the adapter from 485 that connect modbus sensor to the gateway and a I saw that xBee and Zigbee modules can be used. But I don’t know if Digi implement different protocol that restrinct the connection of other type of sensors.

In case of ZigBee, you can use zigbee sensors of other vendors and you need to set ZS=2 on all the modules in the network
