Can I upgrade my Xbee PRO S1 so that it can support mesh networking

I am using Xbee PRO S1 module which does not support mesh networking.
Is there any way to upgrade my S1 module so that I can make a mesh network with that?
If so, please provide me the steps to follow.

no,its not possible. i think s1 won’t support mesh networking

Yup, you can load “DigiMesh 2.4” firmware on it using XCTU software. DigiMesh supports mesh networking.
