Cannot get ConnectPort x2 to detect and read xbee sensor s2

I cannot seem to get the X2 to talk to or recognize the xbee sensors s2 l/t/h. I did a discover mesh devices in the connectport x2 config and management page. Is there some AT command I have to send to the sensor via usb interface board or something. Any help would be nice. Thanks

Set same PAN ID and SC=(scan all channels) on both X2 and XBee Sensor. And NT=maximum on X2
