We have a PortServer TS 16 connected to the serial port of our windows system. The serial port acts as both a console and a WinDbg port, depending on the system settings. I downloaded the Realport driver and have managed to get it to work as a console, but getting WinDbg to connect through it is more miss than hit. It’s connected a couple of times, but is not reliable.
The port is set to Console mode. I tried changing it to Realport mode, but it didn’t seem to make much difference.
Any suggestions on what I can try?
