Compatibility of XB24xxx and XBP24xxx?

I have a working application using using Digimesh and have a hodge podge of left over RF modules. I’d like to use the XBP24 in receive only mode and it appears the P version is constrained to Zigbee channels 0xC to 0X17; I need all of them for my application (0Xb to 0X1A). Is there a way to put the firmware of the Basic version on the P version so I can use these?
