Connect ME end of life: any replacement?

I see the entire Connect ME line has now gone end of life/discontinued. Is there a replacement product in the works? We really like the form factor.

Alternately, perhaps we could move to running linux on a SOM. Best case would be something with an Ethernet PHY, if not an Ethernet jack. Suggestions?
