Connection through ModBus ConnectportX2 --> XBee Analog Adapter

I am trying to read the analog inputs that are recorded by an XBee Analog Adapter through a ConnectPort X2, by using Industrial Automation to redirect ModBus messages. Does anybody succeeded in comunicating this devices? From now I am not being able to accomplish it, and I may be wrong at some point. Could this be performed? How?

In the example you listed above, the timeout periods needs to be more like 5 to 10 seconds instead of 2.5 seconds. It really does make a difference.
