I am a student working on a xbee project. I am using the XBEE 802.15.4 module. When I read through the user’s manual there is no mention about a capacitor is needed on the VCC pin 1. I am wondering if a capacitor is needed.
I am powering the XBEE with a 3.3V supply
Well, there probably wouldn’t be. Check out the datasheet for the power supply regulator and use the suggested values from there. If that turns out to be not good enough, then you have a further design problem…
