Detect reset type

Hi,

I’d like to know how a Connect ME module was resetted, hard reset or soft reset.

The NS7520 hardware manual says that the System Status Register bits 20-23 hold the reason for the last reset, however when I read these bits they always show “SOFT” reset. I tried to reset the board using customizeReset(), using the reset switch on the dev board or power cycling the board, and I always read “SOFT” reset (bit 20=1, other bits=0).

So I’m guessing Net+OS triggers a soft reset at every boot. Is there an other way to get this information ?

Also, what type of reset does the reset button trigger ?
