We use DHPC to obtain a network address on ConnectME and ConnectME-9210 devices running on NetOS-7.5. We observe that when the lease time of the DHCP server is 2 days or more, NetOs does not respond properly and becomes unavailable on the network. With shorter lease times, our application runs “forever”. Why does a lease time of 2 days or longer causes problems and how can we solve this issue?
Do you have the latest version of Netos 7.5 with all the patches installed from the package manager? This works fine in the latest version. If you still see the issue after full update and rebuilding the images, please open a support case by sending email to tech.support@digi.com
