Digi Connect Me : autoconnect or telnet client problems

Hello,

i am experiencing an strange behaviour of the Digi Connect Me.
Firmware version : 1.9.0.6
Boot version 0.0.0.1
Post version 1.1.3

I have a terminal server responding on my LAN (ip:192.168.1.50 port:10001) and one on the internet (ip:83.141.128.50 port 10001).

When i ask the Digi Connect Me to connect to 192.168.1.50:10001 (unconditional autoconnect feature or telnet command in command mode) everything works fine.

When i ask the Digi Connect Me to connect to the internet ip 83.141.128.50:10001 (unconditional autoconnect feature or telnet command in command mode) no connection occurs.

In the same configuration, with the same LAN, same router, etc…, i am able to connect 83.141.128.50:10001 with any telnet client, for for example with the windows telnet client.

Note that the Ping 83.141.128.50 initiated from the command line of the Digi Connect Me works fine.

Worse 1: in the same configuration, a Lantronic Xport is working fine !

Worse 2: behind another router, closer from the ip address 83.141.128.50, everything works fine.

An idea? I am quite upset, because i changed a production design from Xport (Lantronics) to Digi Connect Me (Digi) because the Lantronics had DHCP problems, now i got this problem with the Digi !

Help ! Thanx,

Gilles from France

Thanks to the support of Digi, i updated the Digi Connect Me with the latest version and the problem is solved.
